"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." 1 Peter 3:15

Being made Whole

 Abstract

Incomplete

Part

Broken

fraction

unfinished

deficient

empty

What do all these words have in common?

They are antonyms of the word whole.

What is my point?

We are all of these things until we accept Christ as our Savior and He fills us up with the Holy Spirit. We have to allow the Holy Spirit to come and fill our broken, incomplete places, making us whole and complete in Christ. However, it is a process. It is a daily breaking of our will and ourselves to allow Christ to do His work in us. It is a process that I believe will not be finished until Christ takes us home.

Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen. Psalm 72:19

Do you have any broken, broken places in your life? Do you feel empty, incomplete, depleted? Invite the Spirit to fill those spaces, making you whole in Christ.
