Life is a Gift

Today's writing prompt is gift.

What immediately popped into my head is my favorite verse with the word "gift" in it.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James1:17

Life is a gift-if you are living (and if you are reading this, YOU ARE) then you have been given life. We are to LIVE our lives, making the most of every opportunity!! No one knows the number of days that they have but we all know life is short...so quit waiting for the "perfect" time to do something you have been waiting to do. Do it now!! Now is the time to live your life and enjoy the gift that God has blessed you with.

Every day that we wake up is a gift.

Our families are gifts.

The money we have in our bank account is a gift.

The friendships we have are a gift.

I am so incredibly thankful for the gift of life, that God's mercies are new EVERY morning, that He blesses us constantly with gifts, and they are completely undeserved. To God be the glory!!!
