Being Kind

Kindness matters. How we treat others matters. God is very clear on how we are to treat one another, it is not always easy, but we need to be obedient. I have recently read a book and Bible Study on Kindness and here are a few of my takeaways:

Kindness is baked into God's name. It's who He is. -Courageous Kindness

Jesus doesn't mess around when it comes to telling us how we're supposed to treat people-all people, all the time.-Courageous Kindness

We are living during a time where everything seems so divisive. We can't control other people, but we can choose our response, and it should be kindness. We don't know what others are going through. We know what we are going through and that should be enough in and of itself to remind us that everyone needs kindness.    

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12
