"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." 1 Peter 3:15

My year in pictures-February 2025

I am hoping to highlight pictures again this year that represent each month
(someone keep me accountable, LOL). I did post January here, and now, even though I am a few days late, here is February.
I first saw this idea on Jennifer's blog and thought it was a great idea. The idea is to pick one photo from the month, a photo to highlight the month. Jennifer is using the photo to recap the month and at the end of the year see a recap of the year.
My favorite highlight from February is: Frozen LAKE ERIE ❄❄❄❄

A few of my favorites from our trip. I love how you can see the waves (Kayla and Elijah are standing on them).

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! Psalm150:6

  1. Frozen Lake Erie must have been an incredible sight! I love how winter transforms landscapes into something so magical. And how cool (literally!) that Kayla and Elijah were standing on the waves—it must have felt surreal!

Also, the verses you included are perfect reminders of gratitude and awe. James 1:17 really speaks to the beauty in nature being a gift from God. Are you planning to create a full-year collage at the end of 2025? That would be such a neat keepsake!

    1. Melody, thanks so much for stopping by! I don't know if I will make a collage or not, but I agree, it would be a great keepsake. It was an amazing experience and the only thing that would have made it better is if Lake Erie hadn't been covered in snow :) We could have seen so much beneath the waves.
