Today is Veteran's day and Matt had it off of work. So, instead of completely cancelling school (again this week, Monday was a local holiday), I planned a zoo field trip. In Science this week we just finished a chapter on Mammals, Reptiles, Amphibians, Birds etc...and the curriculum suggested a trip to the zoo anyway...making today a perfect day to spend time together as a family, have a field trip and still count it as school :)
I was feeling a little sad this morning, thinking this was to be our very last trip to the Singapore Zoo...but God is good and we had a great day. The weather was really nice, we had a lot of thunder and cloud coverage, cooling us off, but no rain.
