Have you heard of the app FitOn? I had not either. When Jill mentioned it, I immediately went and downloaded it. It was several days later before I actually got around to investigating what it was all about.
YOU GUYS! I kid you not when I tell you this is what I have been looking for and needing for YEARS. There are SO many options for workouts, with quick 5 minute workouts to 30+ minute workouts. It's like Burger King, except it is exercising your way. I have been struggling to get back into a consistent exercise routine since last summer. I still go to my personal trainer on Fridays (and I still will!), but beyond that, my workouts have been sporadic. Since I downloaded the app, I have worked out every single day since Saturday (6 days in a row!). It also helped to work out the soreness from Friday's workout with my trainer.
What's so great about it?
You determine how long you want to work out for that day, then you search through the options to see what you want to do. As a newbie, I highly recommend researching and planning your workouts in advance so you don't get overwhelmed with the options, and have a hard time deciding what to do. I couldn't make a decision on Tuesday and I kept struggling and finally did something. Something is better than nothing. And, if you are like me, once you workout you have the motivation to go clean or do the next thing that needs to be done.
Like I mentioned earlier, there are SO many options. You can do barre, dance, cardio, weights, meditation, yoga, stretching, walking, Pilates, boxing and so much more!! You can also join challenges (which I love because it keeps me motivated!).
The best part, it is FREE!! It is like having all those workout DVDs in one place. It is mobile, it can go with you wherever you go! You can workout with weights, or without, they even have "on the go" workouts that you can do at work! Kayla was laughing at me because I have been telling everyone about it! But, once you learn something that is useful and helpful, don't you want to pass it on? I know I do because I want everyone to be able to benefit from the knowledge. If you have been struggling to get back into working out, or getting started, I HIGHLY recommend checking out this app! If you do, I would love to hear what you think.
There is a paid subscription that you can choose to buy that will get you more stuff. With everything that it offers, I don't know why you would need it. After I signed up I got a few push notifications trying to get me to sign up for PRO, but again, I didn't and don't see the point. But, I DO love the app!
I am not selling anything, I don't make anything, we would not even be connected on the app, unless you decide to find me, LOL. I simply want to pass on a great app!
That does sound great!
