"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." 1 Peter 3:15

Winter Wonderland

Winter seems to be here to stay. We had snow the entire month of January (which made for a lot of great pictures!). We've had a wintery mix several times recently, which left our sidewalk and driveway covered in ice for quite a few days (even with salt having been thrown down ahead of the storm!).

We are enjoying our first "true" winter since we moved here. I think just about everyone else is over it, but we are not there (yet). I was holding off on sharing pictures because I was hoping to get pictures of frozen Lake Erie to put in this post, but if we do make it over that way before it thaws out, I will do a separate post.

I firmly believe there is nothing so pretty as fresh fallen snow, nor so peaceful!

With the exception of the picture of the front of the house, all the pictures are from our backyard. When we have a lot of rain or snow, we get this small creek in the backyard, but it has been solid for a while now. I was also amazed as the snow started to melt how green our grass is! The snow has been good for it. The pictures are posted most recent to the beginning of January, that is the way they uploaded and I don't have the time or energy to fix it. Here are some of our winter pictures. Enjoy!
