"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." 1 Peter 3:15

Amazing views

Do you ever have one of those days where your kids are driving you nuts? That was me this morning. They would not stop fighting. Long story short, I decided we were going to hike toward the mountain until they were too tired to complain and fight. We are right near Mount Immitos. We got all the way to interstate and hit a dead end on that particular path. Once we got a good distance the kids really started to appreciate the views (and stopped complaining!)
Tonight we decided we wanted to hike that way again and try to show Matt our path. We ended up on a different path and hiked much further than we had this morning. For me and the kiddos we hiked 2 1/2 hours today. Elijah said he didn't know he loved nature so much and hadn't realized what he was missing.
All of these pictures are from our hike this morning. I will try to upload the ones from tonight, maybe tomorrow.

These pictures don't quite do the hike justice...but this was the kids after our hike this morning...Elijah was actually laying all the way on the couch until he saw the camera.
