I am in a difficult season. It has been seven months since I have found the time/will-power/motivation/whatever you want to call it, to do a post like this. It's not that I haven't had things to be thankful for, I have. I am just on the struggle bus.
But, this = Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Psalm 150:6
So, instead of calling this Thursday encouragement, I am going to share little glimpses of happiness.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Things I am thankful for today:
- birthday money from my boss
- Kayla is coming in tonight to be here this weekend for my birthday
- health insurance
- doctor's appointments that have gone well
- Bath and Body works splurge
- time to read
- books to read
- time with Matt and Elijah
- games
- daily walks
- a 3-day weekend
Sometimes it really is the little things.

Those bath & body works scents sound great and your books look so cute. This week I was thankful for time with friends, thankful to check out a wonderful new museum near us with the most amazing and passionate workers, and for lots of really delicious foods.
