Light

Sometimes you are looking for the light in the darkness. Sometimes you have to be the light in the darkness. My goal is to not add to the darkness.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. Ephesians 5:8

⁵ This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.⁶ If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. ⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7

Sometimes our light shines brighter in certain circumstances. We have to do the work of not letting anything diminish our light. It's hard. Everything feels heavy and burdensome. Everyone is struggling with something. In a sea of endless darkness, how do we keep our light lit? We have to go to the source of light. We have to dwell in Him. Please Jesus, help me to shine bright for you!
