"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." 1 Peter 3:15

Thursday Encouragement 11/20/25

It has been a long week! I am thankful it is Wednesday and the weekend is in sight! Our house is officially sold, with all the obstacles removed and we will be closing in a few short weeks. We have looked at 8 houses so far this week, in between working and going our regular things. While we are ready to find our next new home, we are trying not to rush into anything.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Things I am thankful for today:

  • Our house is sold-close date 12/16/25
  • My mom had a procedure yesterday-it went well
  • I got my first Christmas card of the season
  • I had my bloodwork redone for the NutrEval® FMV (it evaluates a variety of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and other biomarkers to determine nutritional deficiencies and imbalances), and 2 years later my labs have significant improvement. There are some things I still need work with, but I am so thankful to see progress
  • both kids that I am a nanny for are sleeping at the same time, making this post possible 😂
  • more houses are hitting the market, giving me hope we will find the right one
  • book club tonight
  • a few minutes of quiet time
  • laughter

Some places I find encouragement:

Now it's your turn! Share something you are thankful for, or where you find encouragement, or what has recently made you laugh, or whatever else you feel like sharing that could be an encouragement to me or others.

Let everything that has breath praise the LordPraise the Lord. Psalm 150:6

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
