Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii

It's been a while, but life has been a bit overwhelming...we really enjoyed our trip to Rome! I was going to do all of Rome on one post, but we have over 300 pictures and even giving a glimpse it will be too much for one post. So, here is our trip to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii. I am going to let the pictures essentially speak for themselves :)
This is the train station in Rome and pictures of us on the train.

 First we took a bus from Pompeii partway to Mount Vesuvius, than this tank took us to the base...

The spaghetti Carbonara Matt got was even better, super yummy...

 Elijah of course had CHEESE PIZZA :) It was good...he liked mine better :)

 I got pizza napoli and it was AWESOME...it had the best flavor...we all loved it!
