April was a difficult month. The beginning of the month found me in Indiana helping with my Mom's care. When I went, I was expecting to be gone for a couple of weeks, we hadn't realized it was Mom's last week. After her passing, we quickly cleaned out her apartment, had her funeral, and I was back home, nine days after I left, but forever changed. I feel like I missed so much, since I was gone for Easter and my son's 21st birthday. Then, I finished April in a vertigo flare-up, making it impossible to get much of anything done. Anyway, our prompts for the Share Four Somethings link-up for this year are: something we loved, something we are carrying forth from this month to next, something that sustained us, and some thing we are making space for.Something Loved
That I was able to help care for my mom in her final days. She was a very stubborn woman and did not want any help, but finally realized she needed it. I think me and my sisters being there in her final days brought her comfort. Here is a post I wrote dedicated to that.
Something We Are Carrying Forth from this month to the next
When I posted in March it was progress on a quilt. With everything going on at the beginning of April, I haven't made much progress, but I did make some progress.
Something That Sustained Us

Some Things We Are Making Space For
I am a broken record. I am trying to get back into my exercise routines. Every time I think I am there, I have a set back. I am also making space for HOPE. With Mom's health being what it was, it was really difficult to make plans. I now have plans for the end of this month, and the second week of June. We are also trying to build a house, so we are making space for the research/looking/saving money process. We have a lot going on and a lot to be hopeful about.
"To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen." Philippians 4:20
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17
