"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." 1 Peter 3:15

I Made It

I heard the song, "I Made It" by Cain when it first came out...I think in May. I have been meaning to do this post ever since, but we all know how quickly time goes. So, here's the thing. We have ALL been through hard things. I wish this song had come out YEARS ago. But, when I heard this song, I praised God for the opportunity to thank Him in worship for the hard things that I HAVE made it through.

It is also an opportunity to thank Him for the things I know He is going to bring me through. The things that are hard now. The uncertainties we are facing. The things we will face in the future. I am SO thankful to God for bringing me through the hard times and I have listened to this song every day since it released. Why? Because I truly am so thankful for all that He has brought me through, and some days I need this reminder that He is going to bring me through the hard things that I am currently facing.

"I made it through more than I thought that I could
I walked through the worst, but it worked for my good"-this right here. I have made it through SO much more than I thought I could. Again, this gives me so much hope because aging is not for the faint of heart, LOL!

I Made It by Cain

[Verse 1]
Been a long year
Cried some hard tears on some dark nights
Tried to pray through
Nothing seemed to make the wrongs right (Ooh)

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, I can't believe the pain I've seen
But looking back
Through every step, You never left
And I'm so thankful that

[Chorus]
I'm coming out the other side stronger
One foot in front of the other
Hands still raising, heart still praising
I made it, I made it, I made it
I made it
Through the storms, the hell and high water
I never left the hands of my Father
Lungs still breathing, thank You, Jеsus
I made it, I made it, I made it
I madе it
[Verse 2]
Oh, it cost me
But it taught me that You won't quit
How faithful
How amazing that Your grace is

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, no matter what this life may bring
I know You'll bring me through
And even in my suffering
Lord, I can trust in You, yeah

[Chorus]
I'm coming out the other side stronger
One foot in front of the other
Hands still raising, heart still praising
I made it, I made it, I made it
I made it
Through the storms, the hell and high water
I never left the hands of my Father
Lungs still breathing, thank You, Jesus
I made it, I made it, I made it
I made it

[Bridge]
I made it through more than I thought that I could
I walked through the worst, but it worked for my good

It's a miracle that I can stand here and say, "I made it"
Oh, I made it
I made it through more than I thought that I could
I walked through the worst, but it worked for my good
It's a miracle that I can stand here and say, "I made it"
Yes, praise God, I made it
Oh, I made it

[Chorus]
I'm coming out the other side stronger
One foot in front of the other
Hands still raising, heart still praising
I made it, I made it, I made it
I made it
Through the storms, the hell and high water
I never left the hands of my Father
Lungs still breathing, thank You, Jesus
I made it, I made it, I made it
I made it

[Outro]
(Ooh-ooh) Yeah
Lungs still breathing, thank You, Jesus
I made it, I made it, I made it
I made it

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! Psalm150:6
