Something Loved
Matt and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary! We went to another Cain concert, this time it was just us. We had a trip planned to see family in one state this past weekend, and they told us not to come because Elijah was sick, so we pivoted and headed to TN instead. It was nice hanging out with my sister, niece, brother-in-law, and all their dogs, LOL!

I have been checking out a lot of quilting magazines and books from the library. I am learning so much, and finding more and more quilts I want to make, LOL! The current book I am reading through is Zero Waste Quilting by Patty Murphy, and it is interesting to learn how she took 4 main projects and used ALL the scraps to make smaller projects so there was no leftover fabric. I love that idea and will be investigating it further. I am always learning through my reading, if you would like to see recent updates on my books, you can check out my book blog.
I am doing pretty good staying in a workout routine. I am consistently working out 3-5 times a week. Not necessarily for long periods of time, but something is better than nothing. Now that the weather is finally starting to warm up, I hope to start walking again as well.
Something I Let Go Of
My job. I officially closed our business on May 23rd. It was SO hard and it is weird not having a job (not for lack of trying), but I am finalizing a few things, and then we will be done with Stitch in Time. We also let go of a ton of books, some clothes, and miscellaneous other things we no longer needed or wanted. We also let go of our house. We put it on the market Friday and had a contract on Monday, we are officially moving again. We have not found a house yet, so we would greatly appreciate prayer for all of our transitions, and things going on.
